How did you get started in this business?
Owner and Founder of Home Away From Home, Keren Smith, started 5 years ago. It was only meant to be a small endeavor as a stay at home mom to bring in some extra income while keeping herself occupied in a fun-loving environment. She had no idea how quickly her few clients would spread the word of her small dog boarding and daycare business. Her loyal clients love Keren’s open straight forward attitude about her home, her expectations and her clients’ fur babies! Keren quickly flourished and her business grew. She now opperates at full capacity on a regular basis and is working on expanding into more services outside of her home.
It is an exciting adventure and big plans are in the works for the future. Her two housemates are now along for the ride now so don’t be surprised to see their faces on a regular basis.
