FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step we do is diagnose the computer.  This is a multipoint inspection we perform to check the condition of the computer.  During this process, we will attempt to recreate any issues the client is having and then quote with a flat rate cost for repair.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Aside from my AAS degree in Computer Technology, I have over 15 years of experience working directly with customers and solving their problems.  I have certifications from Dell, Lenovo and other vendors we work with.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Most of our services are flat rate after our diagnostic fee of $49 for most jobs and $99 for custom computers, liquid damage, and more advanced issues.  Our diagnostic fee applies to the cost of repair.

Our hourly On-Site rate is $128/hr.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Communication is everything in this business and being as transparent as possible. Reading reviews is always the best way to find out overall how someone performs or communicates.  I would also work with someone that has an actual storefront or a well-established business that does this work full time.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

The best way to attack any computer issue is to write down the process taken to recreate an issue.  What programs do I have open? What items do I have connected to my computer? Does this happen after a fresh restart or has my computer been on for a long time? Sometimes it's just best to have a professional look at it before trying to run any kind of repair or program to fix it.  Most of the time it does more harm than good.
