FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If we have a customer that is interested in bringing a computer by for in-shop repairs, we have the customer come by and we meet face to face to discuss any and all issues, discuss all possible repair routes, costs, options, etc.
We then fill out a check-in form and provide a copy of this check-in form to our client, The check in form lists everything they are leaving with us, as well as a signature approving what we will be doing and all neede contact information.

For new business clients, we typically like to come out on-site for our first job and meet our new client face to face. Then going forward, we can continue with just doing remote support service or come out onsite as needed!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been working in the computer field professional for 15 years and have been running/operating Pacific Northwest Computers for the last 8 years.
All technicians who do work for Pacific Northwest Computers are at minimum CompTIA certified and also insured for performing their services.

The owner Jon Pienkowski has studied Computer Science, Programming and is CompTIA Certified.

How did you get started in this business?

After being on the other side of the repair counter as a customer, we saw how some companies took advantage of their customers. We wanted to change the approach to computer repair service and provide full transparency for problems and repairs, as well as present any and all repair options and also take steps to teach folks on how to prevent issues from coming back!

We do work via the golden rule: "Treat people how you would like to be treated!"

What types of customers have you worked with?

Business & Residential Cusomters, Hearing Impared & Deaf Clients, Senoir Citizens, Children and many many more :)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

How are you going to be treated IF something goes wrong. Computers and viruses can be tricky beasts. Sometimes things can be missed or sometimes a problem requires more/further work. If this was to happend with your repair, how will the company take care of you and your issue?
Do the expedite you and your job back onto the bench, do you have to wait for other jobs to finish before they get back to you, will the offer free remote suppor to take care of small follow-up issues or further work that needs to be compelted.
We understand the importance of not just trying to get it right the first time, but helping you promptly even if we have to come back!
