Construction begins on the Jewish Care Anne and Eric Smorgan Active Living Centre
A design that takes cues from the diverse experience of Jewish identity.
It’s not only the complex and technical side of health architecture that interests me deeply, but contributing to creating and improving places where people receiving health care feel comfortable and well-cared for is a great privilege.
Architect Nicole de Lacy has fifteen years’ experience working on complex health facilities, defence projects, stadia and community-focused buildings. Her background resonates with her interest in making a lasting contribution to healthy and safe communities. Her leadership capability and excellence as a project architect is complemented by her ability to interpret design concepts into well-resolved, detailed documentation.
Health buildings often have complicated requirements; this is where Nicole’s advanced technical skills come to the fore, as she expertly resolves complex structural, sequencing and design challenges. Working on large-scale stadia and sporting facilities in the UK exposed Nicole to significant technical and logistic issues; experience that translates well to health, defence and community buildings.
