We work very closely with the customer to define the scope of work and budget requirements. We also aid the customer in the selection of materials. Throughout the construction process we monitor the costs in order to stay within the budget.
My father was a General Contractor and I started working summers at the age of 13. I attended Columbia Technical School in Washington DC, as well as Colorado Mountain College for Construction Management. Both my partner and I have many years of experience in both residencial and commercial construction.
We offer to cuistomers our services for the cost of materials, labor and subcontractors plus our fee of 20% for Contractors Overhera and Profit.
My partner and I started our company, Eisen Construction in 1986, then in 2001 we incorporated as EBW Builders, Inc. We were and continue to be involved in Insurance Repair work as well as Residential Remodel and Additions in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
We have worked on projects ranging in size from $4,000 to $4,000,000. Our customers vary from small insurance repairs to Kitchen and Bath Remodels, Additions, Commercial Tenant Improvements, and Complete Residential Remodels.
We are just completing a major residential remodel in San Francisco that currently is our largest in value that we have undertaken to date. The residence is very unique in design and constructiion. We're very proud of our work and have completed many outstanding projects. One of our residential projects was shown and discussed on House & Garden TV.
My advice in hiring a Contractor would be to check references and even more so trust and feel comfortable with whom ever you choose to do work.
It's my opinion that the customer should have a general Scope of Work before speaking to a Contractor.
