Recycling a building is the essence of sustainability. Since we repurposed a 1920s warehouse for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service HQ in Victoria, it’s been great to see how proud the staff are of their workplace.

A registered architect, Adrian Doohan brings over 15 years’ experience gained in Australia, Europe and the US. His commitment is to push the boundaries of architecture towards a deeper understanding of building performance in environmental contexts. As a skilled leader of complex commercial, education and research projects, he works across all project phases; contributing strong stakeholder, briefing and coordination management.

A collaborator by nature, listening and problem-solving are hallmarks of Adrian’s approach. He establishes productive working relationships with both clients and stakeholders. His ability to synthesise and translate the essence of a brief into intelligent design solutions is highly regarded by clients, peers and consultant teams.
